In the last few weeks I’ve been seeing wood ducks of greatly varied ages. Some especially young for this time of year. Sure you’d expect to see the juveniles that are almost fully grown but I’ve been seeing them just a couple weeks old in mid August. Below are a few recent images of these young Wood Duck Chicks.
